In 2004, Lutheran Homes of Michigan set a goal of raising $5,000 each of the next three years for the Alzheimer's Association through our participation in the Alzheimer's Walk. We have raised well over $20,000 in our first three years thanks to the staff, volunteers and donors who have participated. LHM is a Premier Sponsor for the Mid-Michigan Region. Lutheran Homes of Michigan has 5 teams established for the 2007 Memory Walk. Below are listed the teams, captains, dates/times for each of the locations. There is a Benefit Dinner at DaVinci's Restaurant, Monday, September 10, 5-8:30 p.m. Frankenmuth, MI All tips go to Frankenmuth Memory Walk. Silent auction of a painting of Colleen Howe, "Mrs. Hockey" wife of Gordy Howe. Colleen has a form of Alzheimer's Disease. 1. Monroe St., Monroe, MI Walk and Ice Cream Social, 1:00-4:00 p.m. WE HAVE RAISED WELL OVER $20,000.00 FOR THE ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION BY OUR PARTICIPATION IN THE 2004, 2005, & 2006 ALZHEIMER'S WALK.
