HOW DO I USE THE SERVICE?

Using the service is as easy as dialing the telephone. Simply call the number below for your area. A referral person will give you information about services that will help you.

The referral person will ask questions about you and your problem. The more information that you give, the more they will be able to help you.

WHAT ABOUT PRIVACY?

The EAP is a confidential service. No one from your work will know that you've called the service unless you tell someone.

The referral person who answers the phone is not an employee of Lutheran Homes, but is employed by an independent counseling provider, and is required to abide by confidentiality guidelines as part of a contract agreement.

You may wish to tell a supervisor that you are using the service. It's up to you.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The EAP is available to you and your dependent family members at no cost to you. This includes assessment and referral services and may also include a limited number of counseling visits if needed to address a problem.

Additional services may be offered with some cost to you, but your insurance and income will be considered whenever possible.
