ATTENDANCE AND FLEXIBILITY OF WORK HOURS

Ensuring the health and safety of the LHM community 24 hours a day, seven days a week is our highest priority. The attendance of our staff on each scheduled workday is very important to help us meet these needs. Our staff may be asked to work extra hours, a different shift or assignment, to ensure the health and safety of those who live and work in our community.

SAFE AND SECURE WORK ENVIRONMENT

We want to provide a safe environment for all who live and work within the LHM community so we are very careful and thorough in the hiring process. We do reference checks and criminal record checks to make sure that we have a safe and secure environment.

APPEARANCE STANDARDS

It is important that all staff dress consistent with the professionalism of LHM and standards of our healthcare community. These guidelines may include a standardized uniform and personal grooming requirements.

STAFF DEVELOPMENT

At Lutheran Homes, personal growth and development is important. Our tuition reimbursement program provides support for classes in the healthcare field. In addition, many opportunities exist for inservices, seminars, and obtaining additional continuing education units.
