RESOLUTION FOR MEMBERSHIP
WHEREAS, Lutheran Homes of Michigan, Inc. is a Social Ministry affiliated with the Michigan and English Districts Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, and
WHEREAS, Lutheran Homes of Michigan, Inc. has been and is established to provide for the physical, emotional, recreational, social, religious and similar needs of the sick, infirm and aged, including home for aged care; and
WHEREAS, all of the activities engaged in by Lutheran Homes of Michigan, Inc. are in support of the principles and purposes of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod; and
WHEREAS, Lutheran Homes of Michigan, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation consisting of Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod Churches, of the state of Michigan, as Members of the Corporation; and
WHEREAS, the Bylaws of Lutheran Homes of Michigan, Inc. in Article I, Section 1.1 state that a Member congregation shall become a Member of the Corporation by means of a formal resolution adopted by its voters’ assembly affirming its desire to be a Member of the Corporation; and
WHEREAS, Lutheran Homes of Michigan, Inc. seeks and requests our Membership in the Corporation to assist in the planning, guidance and promotion of quality Christian care for our fellow Lutherans; therefore,
RESOLVED, that our Congregation maintains its Member status in Lutheran Homes of Michigan, Inc. for the three-year term, ending ______________________.
