Press Releases: 8/16/06 Agreement Reached for New Frankenmuth Campus For a printable pdf copy click here. 10/9/06 Lexington Pointe at Longmeadow - Groundbreaking Ceremony Oct. 15, 2006 at 2PM Other Special Events: OPERATION ENDURING THANKS: Nearly 30 U.S. Veterans associated with Lutheran Homes of Michigan and another 70 volunteers traveled to Washington, D.C. in June 2005 for Operation Enduring Thanks, a journey to the World War II Memorial to honor and remember our nation's war heroes. By all accounts the trip was a wonderful success. Many thanks to the volunteer Steering Committee (which included more than 100 people), the LHM staff and administration, friends and family members who helped make the trip a life-giving event for our veterans. BILOXI, MS - HURRICANE RELIEF: Learn how LHM staff made a difference in the lives of seniors who were displaced because of Hurricane Katrina. Four teams of LHM employees traveled to Biloxi, Mississippi to assume staff responsibilities at an assisted living facility for frail seniors.
