NEWS for the Friends of the Lutheran Home Care Agency

The Lutheran Home Care Agency is a unique Home Care, Hospice and Private Duty provider. The agency provides all of the services that other agencies provide including Skilled Nursing, Home Health Aide, all therapy and social work services.
What makes Lutheran Home Care Agency different?
Because the Lutheran Home Care Agency is non-profit and a subsidiary of the Lutheran Homes of Michigan, Inc. the mission and services provided are based on Judeo-Christian principles. Care is provided in the spirit of Christ's love and caring for all.
YOU HAVE A CHOICE
When it comes to care in your home the choice of agency is YOURS. When you or your loved one is in need of care at home following hospitalization, disease or due to illness, you have the right to choose the agency that you want to provide your care.
Because it is so hard to make an informed choice in the confusion of the health care arena today it is wise to give some prayerful thought before you invite people of any agency into your home. The choices you make related to you or your loved ones care may not always be easy, but they should be informed.
Our agency's goal is to provide "Christian Care for Loved Ones" - The Lutheran Home Care Agency staff values life and aims to provide comfort and healing. Our Hospice of Hope provides faith based end of life care and pain control. Our Private Duty agency supports the community through personal care services. All of our staff are thoroughly trained and supervised and high professional standards are maintained. We value our employees and each client equally.
We serve clients of all faiths who reside in Bay, Saginaw, Genesee, Tuscola and parts of Sanilac counties.
So remember YOU HAVE A CHOICE. Ask your physician, social worker or nurse for a referral to our services. In some cases you may have to insist that the choice is yours to make. Anyone may give us a call...you, a relative or a friend. We will be here to serve you if you need us.
